Programs & Community Impact

Sway Records Inc. uses music as a tool for education, mentorship, personal development, and community empowerment. Through creative programs, partnerships, and outreach initiatives, the company provides opportunities for individuals to explore their talents, develop new skills, and gain knowledge of the music industry.

Music Education & Mentorship

Sway Records provides music education experiences designed to introduce young people and aspiring creatives to songwriting, music production, guitar instruction, recording techniques, and the creative process. Through hands-on learning, participants gain technical skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of careers within the music and entertainment industries.

Artist Development & Creative Entrepreneurship

Sway Records supports independent artists, producers, and creative entrepreneurs by providing guidance in areas such as music production, songwriting, branding, distribution, marketing, and understanding the business side of the music industry. The company helps creatives develop the knowledge and tools needed to build sustainable careers.

Community Partnerships & Youth Outreach

Through partnerships with community organizations, educational programs, and youth initiatives, Sway Records has worked to provide positive creative outlets for young people. The company has supported programs serving youth, including initiatives connected to incarcerated youth, YouthBuild Trenton, and community-based organizations focused on personal growth and career development.

Creative Pathways Through Music

Sway Records believes music can create pathways to opportunity. By combining professional music production, consulting, education, and mentorship, the company helps individuals discover their talents, develop their skills, and pursue their goals through creativity and entrepreneurship.

In recognition of his dedication to youth mentorship and community service through music, Sway Records founder Donald “Pup” Bolding received the Plant A Seed Foundation Role Model of the Year Award in 2011.
